Consultation overview One of the key aims of all Millennium Communities is to increase the amount of involvement that local people have with the planning, building and eventual management of new housing developments. TCMS is no different and local people have been consulted extensively throughout the project. Local opinions expressed have helped to produce plans that meet local needs and expectations. From the type of houses, to the layout of the development, to the community facilities provided - local views have influenced the plans for TMC. The formal consultation period lasted almost two years but is now over following the awarding of outline planning permission. Hoever, local people will still be kept informed and there will be opportunities to make their views known. The TMC team will continue to deliver regular newsletters letting people know what is planned and the TMC hotline (0808 100 2470) allows people to pass comments or questions on to the team.
